Tour Genius is the premier note-taking app for college visits. We used Purpose Driven Creativity™ to develop the user experience (UX) and the user interface (UI) design of the app. This included using user experience research to develop user personas, user journeys, empathy mapping, and user flows. This project is currently still in development. Stay tuned form more project updates coming soon.

HireEd Brands and their products offer an inclusive approach encouraging students to use all five senses on their campus visit, as well as, leverage their soft skills to determine which college is the best fit. Their mission is to provide valuable and convenient higher-educational resources and tools that are accessible to all students regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds.
Approximately 27% of all first-year four-year college students leave their college/university after their freshman year.
Using our research, we defined our target user as U.S. High school students between the ages of 15-19. These individuals are currently juniors and seniors in high school and are a part of Generation Z. They were our target user and represent the primary segment of our scope. Secondary segments within our scope include their parents, guidance counselors and college administrators.
Millennials carried a planner, looked up numbers in a phone book, and ordered a high school yearbook, Generation Z is more likely to say, “There’s an app for that."
