Overview
Employee well-being is central to the experience of working at Walmart, one of the largest employers in the world. Yet even the most robust benefits programs only create value when associates understand and actively use them.
Studio 4258 partnered with New York-based agency StrawberryFrog to help develop the “All Kinds of Healthy” campaign—an internal communications initiative designed to help Walmart associates better understand the full range of benefits available to support their well-being.
Studio 4258 was brought in to define the campaign's visual identity and lead the creative direction that would bring the message to life across a national associate audience. Through art direction, design, and copywriting, we built a campaign system — spanning long, medium, and short-form content — capable of translating complex benefits information into something associates across thousands of locations would actually engage with. We developed a range of campaign assets that encouraged associates to explore the programs available to help them become “Mind–Body–Wallet healthy.”

For an organization with more than a million associates across thousands of locations, benefits communication has a well-documented failure mode: it exists but doesn't land. Programs go unused not because they aren't valuable, but because the messaging doesn't make them feel relevant to the people it's trying to reach. The campaign needed to close that gap — translating a broad range of physical, financial, and mental wellness resources into communications that felt personal, not institutional.
Associates across thousands of locations have access to a wide range of programs designed to support their:
physical health
financial well-being
mental wellness
professional growth
The challenge was ensuring that these resources were communicated in a way that felt clear, engaging, and relevant to associates’ everyday lives.

Why This Matters
Benefits programs only create value when people actually use them. For an organization the size of Walmart, that gap between what's available and what associates understand and act on represents a real cost — not just to the business, but to the people the programs were designed to help.
Creative direction done right doesn't just look good. It changes behavior. And in this case, that behavior change translated directly into improved quality of life for the people powering one of the largest organizations in the world.
